TADM User Roles

Claimant

What can this user do?

• Create a case with a TADM officer, which may be uploaded to the system
• This user is able to create and send counter-proposals to the respondent during the negotiation stage
• This user is able to create and send messages to everybody or a private message to the mediator during the mediation stage
• They have 7 days during the negotiation stage to exchange proposals and counter-proposals with the respondent
• If the initial proposal is declined the claimant will receive a counter-proposal from the Respondent, to which they can accept or decline. If the claimant decides to decline they can create a new counter-proposal
• Upload supporting documents to counter-proposals and messages, which will also appear in the document section
• The claimant can choose to withdraw their case at any time

What can this user see?

• Can only see cases they are involved in
• The status of the case
• Can see all proposals and counter-proposals for the case
• Can view all documents sent in relation to the case. These appear within messages and in the document section
• Can see messages sent to them b

Respondent

What can this user do?

• Respond to the initial proposal and statement created by the claimant within 7 days
• If the initial proposal is declined this user will submit a counter-proposal to the claimant
• This user is able to create and send counter-proposals to the claimant during the negotiation stage
• This user is able to create and send messages to everybody or a private message to the mediator during the mediation stage
• They have 7 days during the negotiation stage to exchange proposals and counter-proposals with the claimant
• Respond to proposals created by the claimant
• Upload supporting documents to counter-proposals and messages, which will also appear in the document section

What can this user see?

• Can see all cases raised with their respondent organisation
• The status of the case
• Can see the initial proposal and statement of the case
• Can view all documents sent in relation to the case. These appear within messages and in the document section
• Can see messages sent to them

Case handler

What can this user do?

• Assign cases to mediators
• Close cases
• Choose the closure outcome of a case

What can this user see?

• Can see all cases created in TADM
• When assigning a mediator, there is a drop-down list with all mediators names
• The status of the case
• See the initial proposal and statement of the case
• View all documents sent in relation to the case. These appear within messages and in the document section

Mediator

What can this user do?

• Send a message to the claimant and respondent to begin mediation
• Message both parties, or can privately message the Claimant or the Respondent
• Upload documents to messages
• Create the mediated resolution to resolve the case
• Close a case
• Choose the closure outcome of a case

What can this user see?

• Only see cases assigned to them. If no cases have been assigned they will see no cases in the disputes overview home screen
• The status of the case
• See the initial proposal and statement of the case
• View all documents sent in relation to the case. These appear within messages and in the document section

Administrator

What can this user do?

• Manage TADM provider users 
• Invite new TADM provider users
• Disable TADM provider users

What can this user see?

• The provider user management screen
• TADM provider user accounts
• Cannot see cases
